Homeowner called and stated AC unit was not cooling well. Upon diagnosis we found the upstairs and downstairs damper motors had failed. We replaced both ECM damper motors and the units are cooling and heating well.

Homeowner called and stated that unit was making loud noises. Found condenser fan motor bearings burning out and making loud noises due to system not moving enough air flow through condenser coil due to age of system. Recommendation - Furnace is only 2 years old. System currently has an All-Style Coil. Recommended upgrading All-Style coil to American Standard Box Coil to match existing Trane Furnace and to receive a 10 year manufacturing warranty on coil & condenser (instead of 5 year mfr. warranty on coil) . American Standard and Trane are made both made by Ingersoll Rand. American Standard/Trane do not make an All-Style Coils. A new supply plenum is needed and all ducts need to be extended to upgrade to American Standard Box coil.

Homeowner called and stated unit was not cooling. Upon diagnosis found compressor had bad megohm and running extremely really loud. Outdoor Circuit board had burnt wiring and Indoor TXV not functioning

Homeowner stated that master bedroom unit not cooling. Found extensive leak in evaporator unit on 12 year system. Recommending replacing 3.5 ton Amana system with 3.5 ton American Standard HVAC unit.
